Topping out at 5'4" Nicolette isn't the tallest person you'll come across. Though, she isn't the shortest either. Average is the best word you can use to describe her. Well... just in height and weight. The rest of her appearance is well above average. At least, most people would think so. If you asked her she’d be more likely to agree with average than anything else. However, if you look at her you’ll know better. The cascading blonde curls and the stunning green eyes stop any thoughts of average dead in their tracks. Add in the plump lips she got from her mother and you’re pushing stunning. Sure, she’s a little short to be a model like her mother, but she’s got everything else. She’s just the girl who would rather be behind the scene of it all instead of on the runway. They still take pictures of the designers, right? She’d be quite upset if there wasn’t someone giving her attention.
Seeing as she’s a girl who thinks herself to be average, she spends quite a bit of time in front of her mirror attempting to make up for that. Not that she needs to, but she does anyway. Sure, Nico’s hair is naturally curly, but do you think her curls look that perfect when she wakes up in the morning? Forget about it. The Paul Mitchell curling iron has become one of her best friends, So much so that she has had to purchase a new one every year or so. It may be a bit expensive, but she doesn’t really care. Paul Mitchell is something she swears by, and the only company she’ll buy hair products from.
After she’s finished with her hair, she moves on to her face, and makeup. Unlike some girls who pile on the foundation and draw circles around their eyes with eyeliner, Nico prefers a more natural approach. She puts on a bit of powder here and there and tad bit of blush, mascara, and lip gloss. That’s it and she’s ready to go. Well, after she brushes her teeth and picks out the perfect outfit, of course. What would a girl be with out that perfect outfit?
Moving on to her sense of style you'll find that she's quite the picky girl. You won't see her wandering around in an old pair of jeans and a t-shirt. In fact, she doesn't even own a pair of jeans. The majority of her wardrobe consists of pencil skirts, dresses, ad nice slacks. Being the daughter of a politician and a fashion icon has taught her quite a bit about how she should appear in public. The wardrobe that she has built up over the past few years consists of gorgeous designer clothes, some of which are one of a kind. Those are thing she only pulls out for special occasions, but you’ll never see under dressed. In fact, she’s usually overdressed. Over the years she has become a perfectionist. You'll never see her looking any less than pretty. It is what has been excepted her entire life. So, get use to the skirts and the stilettos, because they aren't going anywhere.
but people say I look like , Scarlett Johansson

My parents taught me that one should always be concerned with their public image first and foremost. Why else do you think I left Italy? I couldn't exactly show my face around the city after that divorce now could I?

Obsessive about her appearance
people tend to tell me I'm ,
Intelligent because, I have a batchelor's degree in political science and was set to attend law school this fall instead of FIDM. I never liked that idea, and it was never a passion of mine. It was something ym father wanted to see me do, so he'd threaten to cut me off if I refused. It was the same way with the marriage. He found the guy, he set the date, he ever helped pick out my dress. Too bad he didn't have the pleasure of signing the divorce papers. That was a blast.
Classy because, they've never seen me act any other way. I'm overly polite, always well dressed and as proper as I can possibly be. My parents didn't send me to finishing school for no reason. Yes, it was pretty horrid, but I did learn a couple of things, at least. [/ul]
but basically, I'm ,
manipulative
adjective
skillful in influencing or controlling others to your own advantage
Since Nicolette was a child she's always been quite the persuasive person. She learned from her father at a young age that if she worded things a certain way she could get what she wanted. It didn't matter what it was she'd usually get it. As she got older she only got better at this little trick. Soon, it developed in to full blown manipulation. Not only could she get things she wanted but she could make people do things for her as well. It was quite in interesting ability to have. As a teenager she'd weasel boys out of money and jewelry or convince her friends to shun a specific girl because she simply didn't like her. These where not the best of reasons, but with a charming smile and a few well placed adjectives, the reasons no longer mattered. Now she's a bit more skilled in this area, and tackles bigger issues each time. However, there are things she can't manage to talk her way out of. As a child manipulating her father was easy, but that was over a piece of candy or a toy she wanted. As a young teenager it became shoes of expensive dresses. Once she hit 18, however, it became much more than that. How does an 18 year old talk her way out of an engagement she doesn't want? How does she get out of moving to another continent to attend law school? She simpyl doesn't. She does as she's told, get's married attends school, and then catches her husband cheating and files for a divorce. That was the breaking point. Up until then she had thought her father loved her and knew what was best for her. When she left Dante and her father insisted she was over reacting, she'd had enough. She packed her things and left. She didn't really want to be cut off from her trust fund, but it was certainly better than being miserable. Plus, it wasn't like she didn't get quite a bit of money out of the divorce.
classy
adjective
of high class, rank, or grade; stylish; admirably smart; elegant.
Being raised in an upstanding Italian home instilled certain values in Nicolette that other's here might not have grasped. Not only is she classy in her sense of style and dress, but also in the way she acts. She is polite to everyone she talks to. The only exception to that is if someone where to insult her. At that point she will insult back. I won't say all manners go to the wind because she will attempt to keep her composure. It really all depends on the severity of the insult. Call her a bitch and she'll likely respond well and be on her way. Call her a cunt, you might as well be dead. See how it works? Beyond her performance in social situations Nico is simply a classy person in general. She knows where each fork belongs in a plate setting and how to fold napkins. Really she's the perfect politician's daughter, or she has been so far. The four years she spent in England didn't corrupt her, but California just might.
intelligent
adjective
having the capacity for thought and reason especially to a high degree
Thanks to her father Nicolette has always attended the top notch private schools and colleges, whether in Italy, France, or England. She graduated at the top of her class from highschool and magna cum laude from college. At that point she was the apple of her father's eye, and he wanted nothing more than for her to go to the same law school he had attended. His plan for her had always been to follow him into law and politics. Since she began exhibiting signs of intelligence at such a young age he has poured almost all of his money into her education. Thanks to him, she's quite the smart girl. Though, smart is probably an understatement. Her vocabulary surpasses most of the people she meets on a daily basis and her comprehension of politics is bordering on brilliant. Just have a conversation with her. That's all it takes is one. Then you'll see. She's far from your average dumb blonde. Though, she often gets mistaken for one because California is overrun with them.
perfectionist
noun
a person who is displeased by anything that does not meet very high standards
Everyone has met at least one person during their lifetime who is so obsessive that they are classified as a perfectionist, right? Well, Nicolette classifies as one of those lovely people. Yes, she's one of those people who refuses to leave the house if her hair isn't just so. Heaven forbid her dress isn't pressed properly or her shoe has a tiny scuff. Those are emergencies to her. Her day stops if one of those things happens. Those things mays sound trivial to you, but to her it's a catastrophe. She gets it from her mother, who use to dress her for her father's rallies when she was younger. The family of a political candidate always have to look a certain way, and that way is perfect. Nicolette still lives by that rule, even though she hasn't seen or heard from her father in quite some time. It's simply engrained in her head with everything she does. It's not just her appearance, but her school work, her apartment, her car. Everything has to be absolutely perfect. Otherwise she might go insane.
attention whore
noun
one who is always looking for attention or has a need to be in the spotlight.
From the time Nicolette was born her family has been in the spotlight. When a child is introduced to that so young it becomes part of them, like it has Nicolette. Back in Italy she was use to photo ops and video cameras. That was a way of life for her. Here she doesn't get that. She's just like any other kid. And there is nothing special about that. This bothers her because she's always been treated a bit different from everyone around her. Now that her life is somewhat normal she's aggravated. So, when a girl no longer gets attention that she craves, what does she do? Well, she get's it other ways. There may not be cameras following her around, but there certainly are boys. Which, may not be as good, but it'll do for now. No, she's not a slut. Just a flirt, and maybe a tease. Nicolette is the type to lap up the attention and then be on her way. She doesn't care if she leaves the guy wanting. She got what she came for and that's all that matters.

Dante Plasucci - ex husband
Nicolette and Dante met the summer before the two of them started highschool. Their father's worked together and had planned a dinner with both of their families. The two got along alright in the begining and due to some prodding from their parents began dating. It helped that they attended the same high school and where also in the same grade. By the time they where seniors Nico was wearing a rather large engagement ring and her parents where planning a wedding. The two teenagers where in a bit of shock, but both respected their parents too much to decline. Sure, they did love each other, but marriage at 18? Despite their cold feet it went off without a hitch and they became Mr. and Mrs. Dante Plasucci. The marriage started out alright. The two moved into their own home, began attending college for the same thing, and everything was going as their parents had planned. Not long after their third anniversary Nico noticed that something was off. Dante was skipping classes, lieing about where he was and coming home later than usual. These were all classic signs of cheating, and she knew this. She didn't have to wonder about it for long, though. After shopping with her mother for an hour or so Nicolette went home earlier than usual and found Dante in a compromising position with a girl she's known for years. Her name was Antonella. She and Dante had been dating before he and Nicolette had gotten together. Apparently he had never stopped loving her. It was on that day that Nico contacted a lawyer and filed divorce papers. She was a proper lady and she had no intentions of staying with a man who treated her than way.
& the good and the bad,
Armando Russo has always been quite the upstanding man. Even when he was a child he showed signs of being a great man. When he decided, as a teenager, that he would venture into politics people weren't surprised. what was shocking was how fast he managed to climb the political ladder. Fresh out of law school at the age of twenty six, he found himself thrust into one position after another. By the time he was thirty he was work as an ambassador to foreign nations. On his first visit to France he met the most beautiful model he'd ever seen. Being a man he couldn't quite resist the temptation and before he two weeks there was up the two had slept together.
When he returned to Italy Armando didn't think much about Francesca, the model he'd been involved with. His mind was far too caught up in politics to really care. Until there was a knock as his door, one night. Apparently the two hadn't been careful in their moment of passion because when he opened the door he was face to face with Francesca. Apparently she pregnant. Armando decided to do what any upstanding politician would do. He covered his ass, by marrying her, quickly. His family didn't necessarily approve of it, but his father, also a politician, knew that if he hadn't his career could suffer. So, the two started their life together and seven months later welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world, who they named Nicolette Marie.
Nicolette was truly as lovely baby. She rarely cried and didn't get into things she shouldn't. She really was a blessing. Until she started talking. At seven months old said her first word, which unlike most babies wasn't mama, or Dada. No, Nicolette pointed at the lamp above her crib and said 'light', as clear as a bell. In the weeks following that day Nicolette, picked up more and more words. With in the next months she was talking in complete sentences, and there was no stopping her. She was like her father in that aspect, though she was like her mother in every other. The curly blonde hair and green eyes where distinctly Francesca. There was no way of mistaking that.
As Nico got older she did develop more of her father, though she still looked very much like her mother. If it weren't for her nose people would have thought Armando wasn't actually the father. Once Nico entered school her father decided it was best that she be enrolled in a boarding school. That was the only was she was going to get the education that was appropriate for a girl of her intelligence level. so, she was sent off to a school in France, where she would spend all of her elementary school years learning not only to be a proper lady, but an intelligent one as well. When she returned home each summer her father was more and more shocked each time.
When middle school years rolled around, they brought her back to Italy and sent her to a school in Rome. This school focused a lot less on proper etiquette and more on the academics. This please Nicolette greatly, for she was tired of folding napkins day after day. She knew all of that already, she was ready for a challenge. Which is exactly what she got. Though, it wasn't a challenge for very long. By the end of her third year there she was top of the class and had been for almost the entire three years there. Now her parents needed to come up with a more suitable place to put her.
Finally, they settled on a high school for politically driven teenagers. Her father had attended the very same academy when he was her age and look where it got him. At first Nicolette enjoyed her surroundings, but soon she discovered that politics was not her passion. While she was quite good at what they gave her to do, it wasn't something enjoyed doing. No, she much rather have a career in fashion design or even modeling like her mother had. Her father simply wouldn't hear of it. He insisted that she finish out her fours years there. She hoped once she returned home after graduation that he'd see reason, but it didn't quite go like that.
While in highschool Nico was also introduced to a young man by the name of Dante Plasucci. His father worked with her father and the two saw fit to introduce their children. You could sense that they where hoping for a match and marriage. Nico and Dante both knew this and where under the impression that their parents knew best. Plus, they liked eachother well enough. Over the four years of highschool that like grew to love and by senior year the two where engaged. They thought that their wants and the wants of their parents meshed, but they had no idea what they where in for being mairred at 18. Just weeks after graduation they where married and pronounced man and wife. They moved into a gorgeous house that Nicolette and her mother had decorated themselves. It seemed like a fairly tale, and for a while it was. They both attended the same school, worked internships and came home to talk about their hard days. It was good. However after three years things began to feel a bit off. Nicolette just knew something was wrong and it didn't take long for her to figure out what. Walking in on her husband in bed with an girl he'd dated in middle school wasn't something she had wanted to happen and wasn't something she was going to tolerate. She called a lawyer and had divorce papers drawn up that very day. Her father insisted that she was overreacting and that things like that happened all of the time in marriages. Apparently it was something she was just going to have to deal with. Nicolette did not agree, and Dante settled the divorce outside of court, giving her the house and splitting everything else fifty fifty.
At that point Nicolett no longer wanted to be in the house or around her family. They where treating her as if she was the one that had ruined the perfect marriage they'd mapped out for her. She couldn't leave becuase of school, so she spent the majority of her time locked in her house studying, staying away from people as much as she possibly could. Once graduation rolled around Nico sold the house, put the money in her bank account and left the country. Her father was hoping that she would still attend law school and continue with the plan he had set for her education. When she left he immidiately cut her off, draining her trust fund. This was all fine and dandy for her. She wanted nothing more than to be out of the situation she had been in and attending a school for fashion design. That had been her calling since she was young, anyway. So, she enrolled in FIDM, bought a small condo and has been living in California for a month and a hlf now.
