Havana is a very very striking girl, for lots of reason. She is like the New York City version of the girl next door. She is the completely and utterly pretty girl that you find every where, someone who has that perfect sweetness about them at first glance. First impressions are big with Havana, she doesn't really put that much thought into what she looks like but she does like to look presentable most of the time. She has a rule that she can only wear sweat pants around the house never once will you see her running around like that. It's always jeans, jacket, sunglasses. Her style is laid back and a little funky most of the time. She probably draws that style from the color her hair which she absolutely adores. She thinks that if she had any other color of hair she would be herself. She loves the rich reddish golden color that it alway is, no matter if she is in the sun or if she isn't.
Her face gives a very sweet demeanor. Her eyes are wide set, which doesn't give her face that hardened sort of adult look, more like a youthful girl look. Plus that and her face is plastered with freckles, those however are affected by what sort of sun she gets. You'll always notice when she has been out in Central Park because she has more freckles than usual but like everything else Gipsi has she thinks that it completes her that she wouldn't be herself without it. Her lips are very full and very red almost to the extent of Angelina Jolie proportions. That is the only thing that she is self conscious of most of the time is how big her lips appear, because lots of those stuck up New York bimbos think that she would go as far as to get botox or collagen. But she would never willing do surgery. She has high cheek bones, nothing too extreme but they form gracefully and join to make a perfect shaped chin.
Moving on to the rest of her face, her nose is a lovely feature, nothing to extraordinary. She's always frightened by people who have huge noses or noses with hooks in them. She is glad that her nose is a graceful sort of nose, one that resembles a sort of ski sloped nose. Her eyes aren't so much of a blue as they are a gray. For the most part they appear to be gray blue most of the time, however when she looks into the sun they have the appearance to be bright blue. They are framed by red lashes but she makes a point of putting on mascara most of the time so that they are framed by dark black lashes. Her eyebrows are the same color of her hair and they off set all her features beautifully.
but people say I look like , hilary rhoda

I love,
fashion, piano, her hair, coffee, jazz, vitamin water, cold weather, scarves, rock and roll, painted toes, vogue magazine, ballroom dancing, the beach, walking barefoot, ben and jerry's, flowers, books, glasses, chocolate, gossip, make up, clothes, boys
but I really despise,
sushi, coke, caffeine, country, rap, hot weather, pond water, swans, salsa dancing, black nail polish, bows, sewing, football, colored pencils, short hair, peppermints, math,
I personally think I'm pretty good at,
loyal, friendly, motivated, proper,
though I should really work on ,
losing herself, stuck up, temper,
people tend to tell me I'm ,
stuck up because, thinks she's better than everyone else
indecisive because, is a different person everyday [/ul]
but basically, I'm ,
When Havana's father was still alive she was the most down to earth girl you know, of course she was only twelve years old. Still she didn't judge people she made an effort to be friendly with everyone so that they weren't afraid of her. She worked hard even as a kid to be the good kid that everyone liked. When she moved to New York she started to loose herself she started to get pushed her mother's way and she ended up acting like every other girl in the Upper East Side. She let the money go to her head and she made the drama of the Upper East Side make her feel important as if she was something big in the world. She doesn't like to think about it too much because she knows that if her father was still here he wouldn't want her to act this way, he would want her to be the old Havana the Havana who walked around in sweat pants all day and kissed her father good night every day. Not saying that her step father doesn't want her to be like that, he just caves under anything that her mother wants and if her mother wants her to act like she is the princess of the Upper East Side, Thaddeus doesn't fight with her on that one.
You would think a girl like Havana could control her temper if she lived in the Upper East Side. I mean the whole place is about manners, manners, manners. Havana never use to have temper like she does now. It all sort of started after her father died and her mother came to take her away. Normally she was always the voice of reason with her father, always talking him out of something. Then with her mother when she started to push Havana she started to get wound tighter and tighter to where some days she just couldn't take one more person dressing her in ridiculous clothes and pushing her down a runway to have her make a fool of herself. The only way that Havana can get off some steam is to burn her energy. She has to do something, most often she likes to dance. She can't stop dancing some days because she's so angry at herself for becoming his person and then some days she doesn't feel the need to dance. Most of the time she will go to a nightclub and stay out till all hours not caring what her parents think. She just has to let her temper go.
Havana's loyalty is a double edged sword if you really want to know. She can be extremely loyal most of the time she is that's what makes her such a good friend. She thinks that she got that from her father more than her mother, who is a bit fickle when it comes to loyalty. If one of her mother's friends use the same china as her mother at a dinner party, Cecilia practically looses it. She officially hates the person after that, that is why she is fickle. But Havana isn't like that in some ways. She is very loyal most of the time, the friends that she made when she first came here are still her friends, and she makes an effort to keep in touch even if she doesn't really talk to them so much. She likes to listen to gossip but she doesn't spread. The other side of Havana's loyalty is her temper, because if you betray her loyalty she can hold a grudge longer than Lucifer himself. It's a bad part of her personality but she's just that way these days.
The main problem with Havana is she doesn't know who she is. This whole personality is just what she has been the last few years, she really doesn't know why she is like this. Most of the time she blames her mother because she was never like this when her father was alive. Not that she doesn't love Thaddeus she is happy that she got him for a father instead of someone who hates kids and can't stand her. But the problem is that her mother seems to be the governing force in her life and she can't get out from under her. That's why she doesn't know who she is, because she's had to change these past few years into someone that her mother wants and not what she wants. It could be the city some days she blames it on her mother, some days she blames it on her father's death, and some days she blames this city. It's really no one's fault but herself that she's suffocating because really if she had just stood up to her mother she wouldn't have had to change her personality for anyone.

& the good and the bad,
It is not easy to describe the work that Havana's family is in. Most people wouldn't believe him if he told them what the family business was. They would laugh it off and think it was a wonderful joke, what they don't realize is that Ares never lies, and if he did this would be the last thing he would lie about. Isolde Augustine was born and raised in France, she went to the most high class school that the country could offer, she was well coiffed, and beautiful and she had the world ahead of her. Although her parents had already planned what type of world that would be. The family business, as i didn't mention before, was to be franc about it, killing. The Augustine family had run the French mafia for as long as anyone could remember. However, there was a flaw in the practically royal dynasty, Isolde was a girl and everyone knew that girls were in no way fit to rule a band of reckless men. It was only natural that Isolde's husband should take the place of her father. Their parents were content with the arrangement, family meant everything and if family was the mob then the mob meant everything.
That boy, as will would have it, was her father's best friend's son. It seemed natural that the two powerful families should be joined, that their children should carry on their dynasty. So it was settled, the boy, Harvey and Isolde would be married at the ripe age of twenty. They were aware of the plans, it was hard to keep them in the dark about the whole thing. They grew up with cool feelings toward each other, maybe if they hadn't been told a natural relationship would have occurred between the two of them. They both attended the finest schools, and before they could blink an eye they were both twenty years old, and wedding preparations took less than two months to complete. Isolde walked down the aisle in her white dress with her prince charming standing at the end. It wasn't a whirlwind of a romance, their parents weren't even sure if it was romance. Suddenly both sides were concerned that they had done to much planning and not enough watching, to see what the feelings of the couple were. Without love their was scandal to be heard of.
So the parents plotted, the thing that they were renowned for, and they devised the plan that Isolde and Harvey would take over control of American operations. After one year of marriage they were shipped off to the headquarters of Las Vegas, Nevada. The parents heard reports on their children with care, and a great sign of relief was breathed when Isolde, after two years of marriage, reported that she was pregnant. Now enough about what the parents thought, Isolde and Harvey despite everything were happy. They knew that they were never going to feel the way they needed to toward each other but they at least knew that they were friends, and even if this hadn't happened they would have been friends. With the whirlwind of Las Vegas and the activities of the mob in full swing, Isolde and Harvey debated heavy about whether to move back toward France for the birth of their child. By the time they were doing any planning the doctors told Isolde it was better not to fly while she was pregnant. So they settled in for the American birth of their child. Then on the sixteenth of June they welcomed their first son into open arms. It was followed by another beautiful baby boy one year later, and then with Havana Cassandra Alexander one more year later.
Then tragedy struck, it was late one night when Isolde and Harvey were on their way back from a gala in Las Vegas and they were being tailed by a black suv. They ran them off the road, and Isolde died instantly. Harvey on the other hand was put in critical condition, with severe injuries to every part of his anatomy, it seemed that they had ignited a bomb under the car also and Harvey had just managed to escape before the blew up, but his legs and stomach were badly burned having been covered in gasoline. The Thorton family came to collect their grandchildren and to fly Harvey home to France, where they buried Isolde. Harvey stayed in the hospital for a few more months finally being moved, they stayed in France until both Christo and Ares were ready to return to America both for different reasons, Christo always had the idea of returning there to finish school and start a business and Ares knew that he wanted to continue where his parents left off. Havana was given the decision to return with her brothers to Los Angeles but she happily declined being content to live in France.
She grew up fast without her brothers watchful eyes, it was soon that her farther remarried, for love this time, and he handed over the reins of the operation to his brother, and he and his new wife produced two more kids, flavia and leonidias. Augustana was a good mother and wife, she took care of Harvey when he couldn't he was still badly hurt from the accident, he walked with a cane and rarely spoke but he was content with his life, most people could see. When Havana was eighteen she decided that she did want to follow in her brother's footsteps and go to America, but she wanted to do it like Christo she wanted to go to college there, there she attended Princeton University, it wasn't until she moved to America that the real drama set in. She met a handsome law student named Thaddeus Von Derring. They started dating and were going pretty heavy since their freshman year there, and it wasn't until the summer after her twenty first birthday that Havana found out she was pregnant. She didn't tell Thaddeus at first but he found the test in the trash can, and he seemed ok with it, and then a week later he disappeared, and so Havana decided to disappear also. She ran to her older and favorite brother, Ares in Los Angeles.
