whatever the fuck had happened to milo hurley in the last week or so had made his tiny little emo head spin. first thing he knew , he'd lost jasper because persephone couldn't watch a damned kid for half an hour while he went to the hospital to check on marie's kid. when he'd gotten home , all he saw was persephone crashed out on his couch while your momma played on the telivision, kaylie a few feet away sticking her finger in marley's ear, and no jasper in sight. he'd woken persephone up eventually after he searched the whole house, and she'd told him that halle had taken him for hte night. he'd gotten slightly upset, but didn't really get too put off for anything but that she didn't call him or let him know first. but then the next day he'd found out halle didn't intend on giving the nine year old boy back. he'd been extremely furious at three people. persephone , for letting halle take him. marie, for making him leave the house in the first place. and of course , halle. he hated halle with a burning passion at the moment and that wasn't really going to change any time soon. later that week, when he'd just started to forgive persephone, she'd told him that he had a personality disorder because of his pms-esque mood swings. she'd convinced him to get tested, and of course he turned out bipolar. which had caused him to get all pissy and angry at her, and he started being a major asshole to the blonde. as usual, but still. he hated fighting with her, but that didn't stop him from doing it all the time. then he got jasper back, called persephone a whore, said he was with her just for the sex, and called off the wedding. epic week.

mrilo progressed towards the new house that he'd gotten the adress for weeks ago when the blonde had bought it, and parked his car across the street from it. sighing, he stuffed his hands into the kangaroo pockets of his hoodie and walked to the front door. his hood was up over his thick, dark hair and his eyes were shaded slightly by the shadow it cast. jasper and kaylie were with ace's kids, so he didn't have to worry about them until the next morning, since they were sleeping over at her and lunchface's house. sighing slightly, milo reluctantly knocked on the door, after almost tripping on the steps it was so dark out. as he waited for her to come, he checked the time on his blackberry. 11:53 in the evening. he almost hadn't come. he told himself if the thing he was writing turned out wrong, he wouldn't come. but of course, the poem had worked out fine, and if he could sing for shit, he would've sang it to her through her window or something romantic like that. but this poem / lyrics were written on a dirty subways napkin because muse had struck him while he was eating his five dollar foot long in his car that afternoon. so milo's ways were rather unorthadox. too bad , it was just as sweet if sang to her accompanied by some accoustic guitar he'd brought along with him if he just stuffed the napkin through her mail slot in the door and ran off. biting into his already chapped lips, the boy pushed the door open since it had been unlocked and she wasn't answering the door, and walked in. it looked pretty empty, since she obviously hadn't moved in quite yet fully, and she was nowhere to be found. he heard something move around upstairs and took up the steps, finding himself in a hallway. he knocked on the first door he found and waited. nothing. you around? he called to her wherever she'd ended up, rubbing the back of his head.

this week was probably the worst week of the young girl's life. milo had dumped her , said he only used her for sex , and called her a whore. all three of those things hurt her the worst and she couldn't stand being with him. thats why she didn't leave her house for the past few days. she couldn't stand seeing people talk about him and feeling sorry for her , knowing that he dumped her and called her all those terrible names. it was a good thing kaylie or anyone else wasn't around , it meant that she could dress as shitty as possible and no one would fucking care. she didn't care how she looked anymore , hell even when they were together , she would be in pajama's the majority of the time but this time , she just stayed home in a vest he gave her and some underwear. she probably looked like shit because she felt like it too. who knew that a few words could make her feel like total shit? evidentally , milo didn't. he never thought before he spoke and thats what bothered the most about their whole relationship. that he could make her feel like total shit but if she said one bad thing about him , he would rub it in her face that he slept with so many women. she was in the bedroom , TV on and just laying on the bed. she had some heavy duty slippers on because her feet were always cold and she couldn't stand it. she didn't once hear the door open because the TV was so loud and she was stuffing her face with miscellanous foods. she sat up and her slipper fell off her foot and she looked down and shrugged before getting underneath the sheets and changing the channel on the TV. it was always the same programs on , night after night. you could almost set your watch by them. she never really got all her stuff into the new house but it didn't matter to her. its not like anyone else was going to be living here. milo had taken kaylie from her , once again and she couldn't stand it. if kaylie was here with her right now , they would be eating ice cream and watching Monster's INC. now , if milo was here it would totally be a different story. they would either be up watching some movie and cuddling or having sex. those were the two options. ever since jasper came into their lives , their sex life had dwindled a lot. but it was more of a loss for milo instead of the other way around. sex was something that persephone did enjoy but with only one person. she couldn't stand that milo was sleeping around with all these different chick and it had hurt her a lot. but it didn't matter now , milo could sleep with whoever he damned well pleased now. persephone laughed at an awkward infomercial. those things were always on late night and always made her and milo laugh. it was super funny when people called in and bought dozens of the products. she didn't pay attention to the squeaking of the floorboard , she figured it was just the pizza delivery guy ordering her pizza. when they knocked , she got up and was going to open the door when the person spoke. it was milo. that came as fucking surprise. the last time they had talked was last night and he left her feeling like a total bitch and a clingy ex-girlfriend. she opened the door a crack and looked at milo. they were almost the same height and that never really bothered her. it meant that she wouldn't have to stand on her tiptoes to kiss him. "What are you doing here? Well , let me rephrase that. What the fuck are you doing here? You left things pretty clear last night." She said , chewing her lips and looking back at the TV.

she looked back at him and waited for an answer. she didn't mean to make it sound so bitchy but thats just the way it sounded like. him being here could potentially ruin the entire night she had planned. sitting in bed , eating , drinking , and watching lame ass TV. she didn't want him here , especially now. she knew that she was getting fat and it could either be the fact that she stuffed her face or the fact that she might just possibly be pregnant. she probably wasn't , people had false positives all the time and thats probably what it was. she didn't open the door all the way , just in case milo saw all the empty liquor bottles and empty food containers. she had pizza boxes , burger king bags , mcdonald's bags , wendy's , chinese , doughnuts , and other various food bags , wrappers , and boxes around that room. she had the majority of the food delivered and she just ate away. "I'm sorry. That was bitchy. Yeah , but seriously ... why are you here , Milo? Shouldn't you be the many women that you sleep with that you oh so subletly rubbed in my face or packing for Hawaii for something. I don't want to sound like a total bitch but you said yourself that I'm nothing special." She knew that would probably have some effect on him but she doubted it. He had some pretty hurtful things to her and she couldn't get over the fact that he had said them.

the past day had been unorthadox for milo. the boy had gone to bed the previous night at around three in the morning, which was actually a good time for him. normally he was stuck staring at the cieling from his teddy bear skin rug on the floor until about five, when kaylie or jasper would run in and expect him to wake up and make them breakfast. for jasper, breakfast was french waffles, and for kaylie , it was pancakes with smiley faces on them. both ridicuously hard to make, and both something milo never really wanted to do at such an early hour. in fact, the only thing he did want to do so late / early , however you looked at it, was sleep or eat something simple. like honey and cookies or something childish like that. but mostly he'd prefer to curl up in a small , tight ball underneath his covers and try to fall back into his unsettling dreams. the boy really did have awful dreams about various horrific experiances. anyways. the next morning, per usual, jasper and kaylie came screaming into his room and woke him up by slapping and pulling on his arms until he got up and made then french toast despite his intentions. he just watned to plop a box of cereal in front of them and call it a day. but he couldn't , otherwise they'd bitch and whine. after he'd gotten them dressed and ready, kaylie in a little red jumpsuit, and jasper in a black hoodie and dark jeans over a nirvana tee shirt, he'd dumped them on scout's doorstep and taken off. he had stuff to do. after he'd gotten himself dressed in his typical attire of a hoodie , just his black one, and dark washed skinny jeans, he'd slipped out of the house and went to see saph to help pack for hawaii. after that, he'd gone to subways, and sat parked in the parking lot for hours, trying to write his stupid poem for stupid persephone. he'd actually tried on it , too. it was actually pretty decent. anyways. after he ate his five dolla foot long , he'd written the poem on the napkins the acne-infested chick had given him with his meal and eventually finished it off to the best of his ability after scratching various things out, erasing, and drawing numerous arrows. after he'd settled with the finished result, he'd taken off driving to the bar, where he'd gotten semi buzzed, lit a joint, and then drove over to p's house. he wasn't drunk or anything, just a little drug-happy. anyways. he finally after sitting in his car for a half an hour getting the nerve up to go knock on her front door, walked into the house and got ready to face the music.

milo heard the door to a room open and turned around to see persephone , standing there , in nothing more than her underwear, some ridicuously shiny bra thing, and one of his old vests. he instantly felt compelled to slam her against the wall and fuck her right there, but for once he controlled himself. he came to make up with her, not to fuck her. and if they ended up having nice makeup sex, he wouldn't really complain. he let an easy smirk cross over his face as she shouted at him , and he shrugged his shoulder lightly. he liked it when she got mad , it just made the sex better. especially when she'd slap him or something. i wanted to see you. he said softly, letting his eyes quickly flick down to look at her nearly bare body before they returned to her face, and he stuck his hands back into the pocket of his sweatshirt. he sighed as she continued to bitch on and looked up at her again with his wide amber eyes. i wanted to see you. he repeated, biting his lip and carefully reaching forward to brush a piece of her blonde hair out of her face. look, i tried to replace you with them and saph, but i can't. you're special, okay? i can't get over you, as much as i fucking need to. i can't. he told her, reaching back into his pocket and then handing her the ridicuously cheesy poem. just don't read it out loud , okay? he didn't want to get all embaressed again.

he wanted to see her. that was unusal , even for him. persephone had always been the one to beg for him to take her back , literally. She was on her hands and knee’s begging for milo to take her back and he usually didn’t. but after awhile , he proved his point and he took her back without saying anything. He never apologized for being an ass too her and he never apologized for treating her the way he did. Persephone had always been the one to apologize to him and hope that he forgave her. she felt his eyes run over her body and she felt more naked than before. He had always done that with her , no matter what she wore. Milo had to look her over at least twice and it made her feel good but right now , it made her feel uncomfortable right now. She really had no idea why but it didn’t feel “right” this time. Milo always made her feel safe , no matter where or who they were with. Once , when they were out at a movie , some guy made fun of persephone for being pregnant and milo kicked his ass. Of course , she was scared but kind of happy that someone stuck up for her for once. Never once , in the whole time she was growing up did her mom stick up for her. every time her dad came after her with a belt and beat her senseless , her mom just stayed in the kitchen and cooked dinner or wrote thank you cards to the other mom’s. persephone never really understood why her mother never stuck up for her and it had bothered her a lot and now , persephone resented her mother more than ever. She never wanted to turn out like her mom , ever. Hell , persephone never even touched kaylie with intent to harm her.

he repeated himself that he wanted to see her and she nodded slowly. she had wanted to see him too but not now. not at this moment , when she looked like shit and she probably smelled terrible. he reached forward and brushed a piece of hair out of her face and she smiled at him. than he spoke. he tried to replace her , she understood that. she chewed her bottom lip as he went on , looking nervous as ever. he told her that she was special and she looked down at her bare feet and smiled for herself and than looked back up at him. he needed to get over her ? the smile dropped from her face as he finished talking and he pulled something out of his pocket and told her not to read it out loud. she nodded and grabbed the napkin and read over it , slowly and than re-read it over again as tears sprang into her eyes. persephone brought a hand up to her mouth and cried silently before moving her hand away and slapping him. she didn't know why she slapped him or why she was even crying. before moving forward , she opened up her mouth and spoke. "i love you." she than stepped forward and kissed him , wrapping her arms around his neck.

milo was ridiculously glad that the kids would be gone tonight. I mean, if they’d been home still, they would probably still at least make out a teeny tiny bit, if it even got to that, but they’d have to be quiet, and they’d have to be subtle about it, and milo didn’t really like doing so. Besides, one slip up, and then one of the kids would barge in, demanding why daddy was trying to kill momma, because that’s what kaylie had described it a few months ago when she overheard it and said she was too scared to go check on them, which both were grateful for. jasper was definitely the one who was more likely to run in on them, but she’d thankfully never done so. kaylie had, though. It was awful. persephone had been on top of milo, both of them were shirtless, and milo had been reaching for her jean zipper and button. It would have been a bitch to explain, so milo had been extremely thrilled that they had enough time to shove a shirt back on persephone and go on the opposite sides of the bed. But then of course kaylie had to further piss milo off, and insist on staying. He’d even got up to go check her room for supposed monsters after pers had failed, and had almost popped a vein when the little girl had insisted on spending the night with them in their room. Milo had rolled over onto his side to face away from both of them and pouted until he fell asleep that night. Then that was the last time persephone actually wanted to try it when the kids were home when they'd been living together a year ago, which made milo upset for a few months, but he got over it and accepted it. There were rare times when they got to shower together, which meant sex obviously, but they hadn’t actually had good sex in months. It was ridiculous and milo was frustrated. That’s why he leapt at the chance of being alone with his blonde.

milo's soft brown eyes watched her carefully as her emotions did a complete 180. first she looked deep in thought, then anxious, then happy, then miserable. milo sighed involunterily. milo was kind of suprised that she could actually read the napkin, since it was crossed out in various places and written over and torn and stained with sandwhich condiments. but she'd apparently managed because she burst into tears and he immeadiatly felt like a dick. but not so much when she slapped him right across his face. his jaw dropped slightly before she stepped forward and kissed him. that was all the invitation he needed to kick off his stillettos and fuck her in the back seat. he backed her into a wall, a frame that was hung on the hall fell to the ground upon impact, his hands going on her hip bones, his fingers absentmindedly playing with the bands of her underwear. he broke the kiss and kissed down her neck, stopping half way down her neck, his breath tickling her neck while he caught his breath. he finally went back to kissing her mouth, his tounge running over the bottom of her pink lips, his body completely pressed against hers.

"are you sure?" she asked and before she even waited for an answer , she kissed him again and pulled his sweatshirt over his head. persephone was horny as fuck and eating herself to death wasn't going to solve that problem at all.

she was surprised that milo even came over at all. she figured that he hated her and wanted nothing to do with her. but after the AIM convo they had about him not meaning all that bullshit he said , she felt a little bit better about their entire relationship. persephone never thought that milo was a bad boyfriend but everyone obviously saw what he put her through. he was a total jackass towards her and it was surprising that she even let him treat her like that. she was almost like one of those mom's who got beat by their husbands but was in denial about it.

milo didn't really mind being slapped , it was just the aftersting that hurt like a bitch that he didn't like. it was better when it was like , a goodnight moon kind of a slap. but an angry, hormone filled bitch slap like he'd just recieved wasn't what he liked at all. his hand went to the side of his face where he'd surely get a five-star the next day, and he tenderly touched it with his fingers. wincing the tiniest bit, he glanced over at her , confused. before he could ask her what the fuck was going through her mind, she slung her arms around his neck and kissed him. his hands fit perfectly on her sharp hip bones, just like they always had. he couldn't help but grin against her mouth as he heard her make a noise. she knew how that made him, and he could barely keep it in his pants as she grabbed onto a chunk of his sweatshirt and yanked him into the bedroom that milo was too busy to notice how messy and cluttered it was. not that he'd really care, either. maybe milo was growing up. maybe he was actually realizing a relationship was a two-way thing, and he needed to start putting in effort again, like he had before, before she left, for this to even begin to work. ...or maybe not. he laughed as she continued to drag him by the front of his hoodie and replied with a sound that sounded like a scoff of some sorts as she asked him if he was sure. of course he was sure.

milo helped her take his sweatshirt off by squirming out of it, and backed up to the bed after he'd taken it off. he fell back on the bed and pulled her down with him, laughing. he sat up for a moment to pry his teeshirt up and over his head, and tossed it to the ground with his sweatshirt. his hands went back to persephone, and he carefully found the sleeves of the vest she had on, and slid it off, still kissing her the whole time. he felt another smile cross over his lips and he ran his hands through her blonde hair, slowly lying down on his back, pulling her on top of him.

slapping milo was always a great way to relieve stress and it made their sex only much better. persephone knew that he liked to be slapped before they actually had sex , he just hated slaps where she was emotional and couldn't stand him. those slaps hurt more than the lust filled one's. she smirked as he laughed when she dragged him into her bedroom. his hands were still on her hip bones as his sweatshirt came off and than they made their way towards the bed. she knew what was about to come and enjoyed that fact very much. milo fell back onto the bed and she smiled as he sat up to take his shirt off. persephone always liked it when the boy was shirtless. the tattoo's , the not so muscle toned body , everything about milo turned her on. persephone couldn't stand those overly muscled , tan , super tall , body builder type guys. she liked her guys kinda chubby , pale , kinda short and stocky. she wouldn't have milo any other way. people always made fun of him because he was shorter than other guys or he wasn't as tan as other people but she probably wouldn't even sleep with milo if he was the average california boy. his hands came off her hips and she pouted for a bit before he took off her vest that was originally his. now , she was almost completely naked except for her underwear. milo was still wearing his pants and shoes and persephone was not happy with that. as he fell backwards , with her on top of him , she moved her right hand down towards the the hem of his pants and undid his belt buckle. she always hated it when he wore belts , it was always harder to get his pants off and it took longer of course. she finally got his belt off but was too lazy to actually get his pants off , so she just lay there. her lips were against his and it felt nice , it felt like old times and she enjoyed that very much. before kaylie was born , they did have sex. quite a lot actually and it was nice , knowing that milo loved her enough to just not hit and quit it. she loved him as much as he loved her. they were meant to be but after she left the first time , she doubted their relationship a lot. persephone figured that when she got back , that milo would be married and have three other kids and his new wife and him and the kids would be so content and milo would want nothing to do with her. but in actuality , he got some chick pregnant and slept around a lot. but he still loved her and that was what mattered to persephone. not that he slept with lots of chicks or that his best friend ended up pregnant. it was the fact that milo still loved her at the end of the day. she had never wanted to hurt him to begin with but she had to leave. she hoped that the sex would mean they were back together but all the other times they had fought , it hadn't. but maybe this time , it would.

persephone wasn't ready for the actual sex. she would have just prefered to lay down with milo and make out. that was always nice too. persephone brought her hand back from his belt and brought both hands to his face. she than pulled his hands back down to her hips where they belonged. persephone pulled away from milo and put both hands on either side of him. she chewed her bottom lip and looked at him. she knew that he would get pissed off she spoke but she figured that someone had to do it and that someone had to be her , knowing milo wouldn't say anything. "are we back together?" she asked , bringing her right hand and rubbing his hip slowly , letting her nails scratch him lightly.

the twenty-something year old boy got slapped around quite a bit. the meaningless whores who actually thought they had meaning to milo would slap him when they found out about his kids, or persephone, or eachother even. and yeah , it hurt, but milo got over it. besides, he was used to persephone slapping him while she was hormonal and pregnant. the tiniest thing would tick the blonde off. like one time milo wouldn't let her watch lifetime while he was already watching some scripted mtv show, and she attacked him with flailing hands, nails, and her fucking teeth. he'd finally given up the remote after he'd recieved quite a few bruises, scratch marks, and even a bite on his arm when he wouldn't let go of the remote control. that was when he learned to let the pregnant persephone have whatever she wanted. anyways. as he was hauled off into the master bedroom, he stumbled over quite a few bottles and boxes, but managed to keep his footing. it would have ruined the moment if he fell and dragged her down with her, and they landed on some sharp glass or something. what looked like promising sex would end in a trip to the emergancy room. fun. he pulled her close after he peeled his shirt off that had already ridden up to under his arms after she pulled his hoodie off of him. milo had always loved the feeling of skin on skin, and all that was in the way was her ridiculously shiny bra and his vest that she had on. so after he'd made quick work of the vest, his arms went around her tiny frame and his fingers fumbled for the clasp of the bra. he felt her eyes on his torso and he bit into his lip, drawing a tiny bit of blood. he'd gotten used to being poked fun at because he was short and pale and tattooed and not ripped, but he always felt sort of naked in front of persephone, pun not intended. but hey , if he'd been able to score a girl like persephone and girls like eden, saphara, and marie, then something was working for him. anyways. he was just starting to work on the highly complicated clasp when she pushed him backwards onto the bed and started to go for his belt buckle. he backed off and decided to just lay there enjoying it while she did so. it didn't feel too bad, either. he could practically feel her annoyance towards him for wearing a belt seeping through her, and couldn't help but grin. he only wore belts to keep his too-tight pants up, otherwise they rode to about the bottom of his ass. milo shimmied out of his jeans, a huge grin still on his lips as she continued to kiss him. once he got his pants to around his ankles, he kicked off his shoes and pants and went back to focusing on his treasured blonde. before kaylie and the era of fat / pregnant persephone, they spent entire days just lying in bed, talking about what kind of a wedding they wanted, or what kind of a house they'd get in a few years when they could afford it. before milo made it big, of course. and before persephone left. they'd spend all day in bed talking, kissing, and of course, going at it hot and heavy every few hours or so. then they'd finish the day off with ordering takeout to eat in bed, followed by a shower together and then sleep. while persephone had been gone, milo considered moving on completely. getting married to some other chick to screw her over. but no, he couldn't do it. only sleep around. and then of course there was saphara, who was a completely different story... she meant something to him. but not exactly romantically. sure, he loved saphara, but more placidly. like a sister or best friend... who he slept with? okay.

milo could practically tell that she was in a more of a cuddling mood than a sex mood. she would have had him entirely naked by now if she was in a sex mood, if memory served him right. his inked arms were forcably placed back on her waist, but he didn't complain. he was about to pull at her underwear or something when she paused. he scowled inwardly as she just looked down at him, chewing on her lip. he was about to open his mouth to demand what she was about to ask him, when she spoke. he sighed and flopped back down onto the bed, his hands leaving her hips and falling lazily on either side of him, his head leaning against the bed and staring up at the cieling. he was about to make some pissy remark when he felt her hand on his hip. he squirmed slightly, the leg that she was rubbing twitching involunterily out of pleasure like some fat old dog that moved it's leg happily every time you scratched a certain spot on it's stomach. only, milo's leg didn't move as ridicuously much, just a little bit. barely noticeable, but since she was on top of him, she'd probabaly feel it. now back to the question she'd asked. yeah, yeah, sure. now come here. milo whined, gently taking her by the elbow area and pulling her back down so he could reach her, since she'd been sitting on him for the past whatever few moments. of course he meant it, he did want to be with her again. but he was impatient. he took this oppurtunity to reach around her back and undo the damned clasp before he put his hands back on her waist like she liked.

there were times when milo wished he could say the same thing about persephone being the only girl he had and would ever have sex with. but he obviously couldn't. he had another kid with a completely different girl than the blonde he had in his arms at the moment, and was expecting another one with his best friend. fucked up. anyways. he wish he could be more faithful sometimes, but it really wasn't in his coding. sure, he'd been pretty decent while they'd dated and were engaged, but before then and when she left he'd unleashed his inner manslut and fucked anything in near sight wearing a skirt. it didn't help ease the pain quite like he'd hoped it would, though. it had been a huge let down, and he was certain he picked up a few stds along the way. milo had no idea that she'd never be able to move on if things didn't work out between them, and it was hard to tell if he could or not. probabaly never completely. he'd always compare whoever the girl of the week was to persephone, no matter how great that girl may be. always remember persephone if the chick did sometihng to remind him of her. so basically no , he couldn't really move on either. persephone and him always had something dramatic going on in their lives lately. normally they'd just been chilled out and relaxed, happy and young. innocent and naive to how shitty things would turn out within a few years. and shitty it had definately turned. they were constantly in fights, and constantly yelling at eachother and fighting over kaylie every few minutes or so. when they weren't fighting, they weren't talking , and that time it was slightly obvious what they were doing. only, persephone quite often did talk, to milo's annoyance. she wouldn't ever shut up, and it was one of the thinks that irked him.

milo was actually telling the truth. he was just being a jackass. he wanted desperately to be with her again, but if sex was incuded, it was a total bonus. and now that it was dangled in front of his face like it was, he couldn't just turn it off and be a nice, sweet guy and snuggle with her and whisper sweet little nothings into her ear all night. maybe they'd have time for that later, but for fuck's sake, he wanted in her pants right now. and not taht much could keep him from getting there. hell, he had no fucking idea what he'd have done if she'd gotten all worked up over his nonchalant reply to her question. probabaly cried a little bit, and then storm off into the closest bathroom with a porno magazine or something. milo smiled contentedly as she decided to let it go for now and lean down to kiss his lips. he let his eyes shut peacefully as she rubbed his face during the kiss. his hands went down to her panties and he went back to playing with the band of the underwear. and again , he was about to tug them down when she hopped off of him and stood up. he sat up quickly, a startled and utterly confused look on his face. he watched, even more confused as she snatched up his clothes and left. he flopped back down onto the bed, lying on his back, staring at the cieling fan which was spinning around and around for a few minutes before he got his lazy ass up and went off to find her, adjusting his underwear to they stopped riding up his ass. he plodded lazily through the dark, trying to find where his favorite blonde had went off to. he sighed and wandered down the stairs and out the sliding glass door that she'd left open and stopped short in the doorway when he saw her wading around in the pool, her back turned to him, and from here, it very much appeared that she wasn't wearing clothes. he itched at a spot on the side of his stomach awkwardly as he debated on what to do. his amber eyes fell on her discarded bottom and he bit into his lip, hard. a few thoughts were running through his head, and while he stared, hardly able to keep his mouth shut, the main one was, what if she got pregnant again, because he didn't bring any protection with him, and he really didn't want a fourth kid at age twenty-something. was it worth it, to risk this? but then again, he'd answered himself when he'd followed her out of the bedroom all the way to the effing pool without even an explination, so yeah, it was worth it to him, obviously. the boy made his way to the pool, and he was about to sit down at the edge of the pool and try to coax her out or something, since he really wasn't in the mood to go 'swimming', but of course, the edge was slippery and as he made to sit down, he lost his balance and went crashing into the pool, his still-being-worn boxer-briefs soaking upon impact, along with the rest of him. he had a few seconds to let out a string of curses before he hit the water, and when he came up from under the surface he let out a few more. he scowled and glared at persephone, daring her to laugh. he reached up and delicately touched at his hair, frowning at the damage. it would dry fucking curly. he made a face and looked back over at her. deciding that she looked far too dry for being in the pool, he reached over, grabbed her arm, and tugged her forward, gently enough to not hurt her or anything, but hard enough to send her underwater into the deep end of the pool. he started laughing loudly when she came up, and grinned at her, pinning her against the edge of the pool before she could yell at him too much for dunking her. he pressed up against her until there was no space between them, and he leaned towards her and kissed her lips for a second before he trailed kisses up her jaw line, stopping to nibble at her ear before pulling back and pushing up against her again. the skin on skin sensation he'd felt earlier was back, and except for his pesky underwear, both of them were completely naked. he leaned towards her ear again, but instead of putting his lips to her ear, he murmered i love you, persephone pacific. to her.

the girl knew that milo and her would never have that normal relationship. ever. no matter how things turned out , they would never be that normal couple that people envied. at the very beginning of their relationship , they were an almost perfect couple. well , they were far from the perfect couple. milo had children with two other people and he slept with many other girls. they had quite the complicated relationship. they either were fighting , not talking to each other , or were dating / engaged. but those things never lasted very long. it was like fate never wanted them to actually got married and that pissed persephone off a lot because she really wanted to get married to the boy that she was waiting for at the moment. speaking of that boy , she turned around and found him trying to get into the pool and ended up falling in. she stifled a laugh as he popped up from underneat the water and he looked pissed. milo did not like unvoluntary swimming. his hair ended getting messed up and he'd be pissed off. when he leaned forward and grabbed her and pushed her under , she was shocked and pissed off at the same time. when she came up , he pinned her against the wall and kissed her before she could make a noise or slap him. he planned kisses down her jawline and just as she thought he was going to kiss her ear or something , he whispered that he loved her. it was a good thing her face was dripping water as a tear rolled down her face. it may be cheesy or someting to cry when the person you love tells you that they love you but persephone was a very cheesy person. persephone untangled her arms and wrapped them around his waist and pressed her lips to his and spoke against his lips. "I love you too , milo hurley." her hands played with the waistband of his wet boxers as she slowly pulled them down as she layed kisses all over his face.

she loved this boy in front of her more than anything in the world. no matter what he did or said to her , she would always love him. he could leave her and get married to some whore and she would still love him. maybe thats why she stuck around all this time. she was always hoping that they would get married. he would be waiting at the alter , some guy other than her dad would walk persephone down the aisle , than they would reach the alter and all that ceremony mumbo jumbo , than they would be pronounced as husband and wife. they would go honeymoon in cabo , go live in chicago and live happily ever after. thats how she wanted things to happen in the beginning , but she had to mess that up when she ran away in kaylie.
