so over - all , Lauren’s hair is a medium blonde shade, and is naturally wavy and frizzy, and chlorine damaged. Spending so much time in the pool takes a toll on her hair, making it look dry and gross. She tries her best to counteract that affect by applying a heavy conditioner when she showers. It has yet to be as bad as her hair turning slightly green, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if one day a patch of green showed up from the chlorine. She usually wears her hair wavy or straight, hardly ever completely curled. The heat from a curling iron or straightener would do too much damage to her already somewhat damaged hair, so usually it’s worn wavy, how it is naturally. Although half to the majority of the time her hair's in a ponytail. It's always up for practice of course, but sometimes she just gets bothered by her hair always being in her face, so she puts it up. Maybe it's just part of being an athlete, but whatever. Her eyes are actually not that stunning and obvious. Unless you get up close to her, you can't really tell what color her eyes are, they just look like a blur of color. They are green though, and once you get closer, they do look pretty beautiful. They're a nice oval shape. She usually wears a lot of mascara to bring them out, and varies on colors of eyeshadows. Lauren stands at somewhat short, full grown height of 5'3" and weighs in at about a hundred and twenty seven. She's not super skinny; she's got a muscular body, thanks to all the swimming she does. She's got girly but muscular abs, 'guns', and big thighs. Speaking of her thighs, she hates them. She thinks they're too big and muscular. Feel free to disagree or agree. She likes keeping her muscular thighs covered up and rarely will she buy a pair of super short shorts or a really short dress, although she does have a few. As far as her fashion sense goes, she seems to either be completely laid back or dressed to the nines. She's either in sweats and a t-shirt going to grab a cup of coffee or at a party in a dress. Even when she's just going to have lunch with a friend she'll wear a pretty sundress. With her athlete image, she finds it fun to dress up because otherwise she's either in uniform at work or at swim practice. So at the chance to dress up, she grabs it. The dresses she wears are usually very simple but have a sexy touch to it. Not necessarily slutty. For example she has a long sleeve dress with no cleavage at all that would be considered very conservative if it didn't have a big opening in the back. She tries to look good without looking completely innocent and conservative without being skanky. At home at her apartment she's usually found still sitting around in her swimsuit or in sweats and a t-shirt. She finds there's no reason to waste a good outfit if you're just going to be sitting at home.
but people say I look like , hayden panettiere

because, i'm hardly ever mean unless you're mean first.
I love, marine biology, swimming, tennis, san antonio, laughing, warm weather, sweet boys, dark haired boys, shoe shopping, the show House, the notebook, michael phelps, jack johnson, macon tucker, surprises, surpises hugs and kisses, little kids, movies, parties, reading, watching the starts, cherries, southern food, sleeping in late.
but I really despise, smoking, drinking, drugs, getting up early, movie marathons, sitting still for too long, conceited people, sluts, being alone, cold weather, doing laundry, doing the dishes, grocrery shopping, cocky men, men who talk about sex all the time
I personally think I'm pretty good at, sweetheart, good listener, caring, loyal, athletic
though I should really work on , impatient, insecure, holds back feelings, procrastinator, not brave
people tend to tell me I'm ,
a prude because, i'm a virgin
loyal because, i rarely betray my loved ones. [/ul]
but basically, I'm , Lauren’s a sweetheart with great ambition, but unfortunately holds back her emotions at times. She has a bright future ahead of her, with a steady focus on her goals. She hates to be mean, and she only says something cruel if its absolutely necessary. She has a big heart and loves to give little pieces of it to those who befriend her. Although sometimes she has trouble with letting people stand in her way. She used to be a quiet girl, but she’s been trying to let go of that. She’s made quite some progress in the past few years, but she still has her moments where she just can’t stand up for herself or say what she wants to say. When she’s not having those moments, she’s a pretty outgoing person. She’ll talk to you, no matter who you are. If you get her mad though, she’ll probably have a hard time telling you, and just act like everything’s fine.
She's dedicated to everything she does and is obsessed with all things water. She puts her heart and soul into things, one of them being water, or in this case marine biology. She loves being in the water and watching it, but most importantly, she loves the life in it. Yes, we're talking fish, dolphins, turtles, squid, octopus, and all those other weird creatures. She currently works at the New York Aquarium as an intern, doing simple things like feeding and caring for the animals and cleaning up after them when necessary. She hopes to work her way up and become a big part of it one day. Swimming, that's her other obsession. It's an anger release for her. Since she holds back her emotions at times, she releases them physically through swimming. If you make her mad, you'll probably cause the girl to storm off to the swimming pool.
As far as her social life goes, the opposite sex in particular, she tries to be pretty normal around them. And by normal meaning, someone who doesn't focus only on swimming. She chooses not to talk about her games to people for fear of she might look like she's bragging or they'll think she's too busy for them. In conversations, she's a great listener. Around guys, she does like to 'turn up the flirt a little bit, but not much. She has a coy sense of flirting. And although the girl might not have the best advice on something, she'll listen. She cares a lot about people and doesn't like seeing those around her un-happy. However, she’s not one of those people that if you sit down and tell them say, “My boyfriend broke up with me.”, she’ll try to comfort you but she’s not going to act all perky about it and say, “Oh well don’t worry about it.” She’s going to sit there and be sad with you, hug you until you feel better and just offer comforting words. She doesn’t pretend like the problem isn’t a big deal. At least, with others’ problems. Maybe she should follow her own advice, because at times she tends to ignore her problems.
She's a bit of a people-watcher. She stays in places longer than she needs to, just watching people. She's a bit fascinated by all the different types of people in the world, how they act and who they are. She won't judge you by your appearance or clothes. However, there is a difference between judging someone, and not liking you because of a bad first impression. First impressions mean a lot to her. If you act rude to her the first time you talk to her, she won't like you, and it'll be hard to get her to like you after that. If you flirt the first time you meet, she'll flirt back. It's all about what you do, and how you treat her. Although to her, actions speak a lot louder than words.
( this is old crap. )

the love life , "oh wow. my love life. what an exciting rollercoaster. i didn't have my first boyfriend until the eighth grade back in san antonio, he was within my circle of friends who all had the same values and stuff as i did. we obviously had to break up because i had to move to los angeles. then all through highschool i dated zeus ledbetter, rhys horowitz, and macon tucker. macon got chased out of la by his dad and i was truly heartbroken. i never loved him but i wanted more anything to get the chance to. since then i've had a couple fling type things but not much." ( questionable, need to talk to people. )
& the good and the bad, Early in the morning on September fourteenth 1989, twenty six year old Catherine Piner gave birth to a baby girl, with thirty year old Austin Piner by her side, with many relatives outside in the waiting room. They named this baby Lauren Nicole Piner. Lauren was born into a big family, with lots of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Every family together was absolutely chaos. As a kid, Lauren was always the shy one in her family. At school she would hardly ever raise her hand in class. She knew the answers in her head though; she was a smart little girl. She was too shy to say them. She hated people looking at her and the fear of actually being wrong was a little overwhelming for little Lauren.
At age nine, tragedy struck. After one night of those ‘family get-togethers’, where the adults probably had too much too drink, her dad was driving the family home. All of the sudden, the car swerved, ramming into another car and killing her six year old younger brother. Everyone else luckily survived. Lauren became more angry than sad, angry at her father for driving drunk. Her father says it was “nobody’s fault” that he died, but she believed that it was her dad’s fault. She was only nine, but she was angry. And she needed something to let all that anger out. No, she didn’t resort to drugs, cutting, smoking or alcohol. She resorted to tennis. Yes, swimming. A sport. Somehow, moving her body strenuously through the pool made her little nine year old body feel better. Little did she know it would become a bigger part of her life than she ever imagined.
Soon after she became involved with swimming, she became addicted to it. Every week she looked forward to her meets, ready to give it all she had. Her team was pretty good, and they won quite a few meets. At age eleven, she wanted more than just being involved during certain seasons, so she joined a summer league. So from then, almost year around, she was devoted to swimming.
At age fourteen, she finally forgave her dad. Before she forgave him, her relationship with him had slipped and they didn't talk as much as they used to. Now some might say it was 'becoming a teenager' that stopped them from talking, but they both knew deep down that Lauren was still mad. Well finally she was sick of not talking to him and being mad, so she forgave him. Although she still has her moments where she just can't even look at him, thinking that her brother isn't alive because he made a wrong decision.
Also at age fourteen, recently after she forgave her father, she moved to Los Angeles due to transfer in her dad's job and trouble at the school her mom was working at. Back in Texas, she was somewhat of a quiet girl who only opened up around her friends. But with a fresh start at the Blair Academy, she tried to break out her little innocent shell. It took a year or so for her to become the least bit outgoing where she would talk to anyone. She’s made quite some progress since she’s been here, but she still has her moments where she just can’t stand up for herself or say what she wants to say.
As far as her ‘all things water’ so-called obsession goes, numerous people have told her that she should enter the Olympics, but she really doesn’t believe she’s good enough, which maybe isn’t. Yet, that is. And you’d think nine years experience would be enough. Well, guess not. Besides, Lauren’s too occupied with her other H2O addiction, marine biology. She loves swimming, but she knows that marine biology is a more suitable career. (old crap ftw.)

- - - - - -The more Lauren stepped back and took a look at herself, the more she realized how much she’d changed over the years, specifically within the last few months. Some of these changes disgusted her at times, but on the other hand she felt like she felt like she wasn’t living in fear anymore. She had mostly been corrupted by her boyfriend Zeus and the things that went on with him that had changed her. She’d gotten drunk for the first time with him for one. Secondly, swimming no longer helped her release her anger or emotions anymore. At least not with problems with Zeus. When he had upset her, going to take a swim in the pool hadn’t made her feel much better. That had usually always helped her feel at least a little bit better, but not anymore. Lauren had also grown meaner, bitterer. She wasn’t afraid to lash out at people anymore, at least people she openly hated. Such as Cecilia van der Rohe. Lauren saw no reason to be polite to her and she never hesitated to throw a rude comment her way. Last year, or even months ago, Lauren never would have done such a thing. She would have been way too afraid to speak her mind. Lauren was still hugely on the innocent side, because she had in intention of fighting the girl; even know she knew she could. She still didn’t drink or smoke or have sex, so maybe she hadn’t changed all that much, but her personality was beginning to transform. It disgusted the girl sometimes; she hated this new meaner side of her. Once she spat out those rude comments she often wished she could take them back. She wondered what was wrong with her, why she was acting like this. It was probably just all the drama that was happening with Zeus. Truthfully, Lauren was scared out of her mind she was going to lose him. She couldn’t let people see her weak side though, she didn’t want them too. People already thought the girl was just a big baby, and if they saw her scared, it would just get worse. She couldn’t let that happen.
- - - - - -Shivering as she hopped out of the pool, Lauren scurried to the locker room and quickly changed as she did almost every day of the year. It was routine by now, and Lauren could get dressed and find her way out of the pool building with her eyes closed. She grew sick of this routine at times, after all swimming was hard work and she hated it sometimes. Although she couldn’t imagine what her life would be like without it. She’d grown to be addicted to it; ever since she had started to release the anger she had on her father for accidentally killing her little brother. It had always been a form of anger management for her. If she didn’t have it, the girl probably would have lost her mind by now. Another thing, or person rather that kept her head on straight was Kristopher Lynch, her good bisexual friend. Not that his being bisexual really bothered her all that much. In fact, it didn’t bother her at all. Although Lauren had been raised in a Christian view of thinking, that love was supposed to be between a man and a woman, which was one thing Lauren disagreed with. She didn’t think love should be based on gender. Love was about accepting and loving the person for who they were regardless of their gender. And she knew Kristopher knew that she didn’t care, and it was never really an issue in their friendship. In fact Lauren often encouraged him to go find guys to talk to and flirt with. She wasn’t sure how long Kristopher had actually known he was bisexual, but she knew he might be a little uneasy about it. Any person in today’s world would with so many people against it. But then again it was Kristo, and he usually cared less about what people thought. Lauren admired that about him, that he never seemed to give a care about what others thought. She wished she could do that.
- - - - - -Once the blonde arrived home, she set her keys on the table and quickly changed into a rather asian print looking red shirt and blue jean shorts. She was excited about going to shop with Kris today; they hadn’t hung out in a while and she hadn’t shopped in a while either. Her busy schedule never left much time for normal things like shopping or just going out to hang out. Besides hanging out with Zeus, which was something she always made time for. Arriving at Rodeo Drive, Lauren stepped out of the car with her oversize black bag hanging over her shoulder and her white sunglasses over her eyes. Walking up to the coffee shop, Lauren swung open the door with her muscular arm and stepped inside. The blonde reached up and took off her white sunglasses to reveal her pea green eyes. She smiled when she saw Kristopher and walked over. She leaned down and threw her arms around him, “Hiii Kristo.” She said in a cute excited voice, happy to see her older brother figure. “I’m gonna get something and I’ll be right back.” She said before walking away and stepping in line. She ordered a white chocolate frappucino and after waiting a couple of minutes she was sipping the sweet concoction on her way back to the table. She sat down across from her friend.“So what’s up? You haven’t been waiting long have you?” Lauren asked. “Ah gosh I’ve missed you! I like your outfit by the way.” The blonde female babbled on, taking a look at her tall dark and handsome friend. She stopped talking for a moment and looked at Kristopher while she sipped her drink.
